Severance Packages

A question which many employees face upon being fired is whether or not they should get a severance package, and how long that package should cover. The purpose of these payments is to give employees money on which to live until they can find another job to provide income. In addition, some packages may include benefits such as health insurance if the individual was formerly depending upon the company through group coverage.
